I have always loved to sing and at 13 I auditioned for my first band. I got the job and we worked together for a few years doing various gigs at school and for friends and by the time I was 18 after various band member changes, we wrote and recorded an EP. It was quite good, even if I do say so myself and one of the tracks was voted number 1 for 10 weeks on some internet music site. Anyway, I fell out with the guitarist (he really was a bit creepy) and so we all went our separate ways.
I then met a few guys that were looking for a female singer for their covers band and so I started singing with them. That was a fun band, and we mostly played parties for friends, but we did do a little tour of the South East which was organised by the very organised drummer - he is now the drummer with quite a successful up and coming signed recording band.

I then went to uni and was far too busy drinking and partying (and studying, of course) to do any singing. Once I got settled back in Hawkhurst I started going to the "jam nights" and met various musicians that I would end up gigging with. One group of guys were planning on
putting together a Pink Floyd tribute act and asked me if I'd do the "Great Gig". To be honest I'd never hear the song before, so asked my dad if I could borrow his copy of "Dark Side" and nearly fell off my chair when I listened to the track. I never thought I'd be able to come anywhere near. So I gigged with them for a few years until it the keyboard player moved to Birmingham (why anyone would want to do that I'll never know - only joking!!).

So, then I met the Relics, and my god, they are relics!! My dad had known Dave the keys for years and when Dave had mentioned he wanted a female singer to back his Pink Floyd tribute band, my dad suggested me. I met all the guys in approx Sept 2009 and after some grilling from Malcolm bass, they asked me to gig with them. I guess now that I'm on the website, I'm actually in the band!!

Anyway, that's enough about me, come and see us play, we're bound to be in a pub near you very soon!!"
